COVENTRY HOUSE


Women's Residential Support

Full-Time

The Women’s Residential Supporter provides ongoing support to the Coventry House residential environment and to client activities. These include, but may not be limited to, case management activities with clients, educational groups, managing of house activities, food supplies, recurring monitoring and logs, daily chores schedules, client support with external resources, some transportation, and other functions as assigned. Knowledge of and sensitivity to gender, trauma, and parenting issues is integral to this position. Excellent organizational and communications skills are required. CADC preferred, valid and in good standing drivers licenses required.


 

Women's Clinical Specialist

Full-Time

The Women’s Clinical Specialist is assigned a caseload of Coventry House clients who integrates /coordination all clinical and rehabilitative services for there caseload. The Women’s Clinical Specialist possesses knowledge about substance abuse treatment, including co-occurring conditions and gender-responsive, trauma informed care.  They are trained in a variety of therapeutic techniques used with a concentration in Women’s issues which including depression, addiction and substance abuse, suicidal impulses, stress, parenting, problems with self-esteem, and grief.  Counselor works with individuals, families, and groups to address and treat client.  Works independently with weekly supervision, is capable of directing and motivating clients toward abstinence and sobriety through specific avenues of treatment. Excellent organizational, written and verbal communications skills. Ability to work effectively with the DCF/child protection system and other external parties engaged with the clients. Bi-lingual preferred. Flexible scheduling to provide appropriate coverage day, evening, and weekends as required. Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.  At least one year post graduate experience in counseling substance abuser or mental health clients. Appropriate internships or prior work experience may satisfy this requirement, depending on circumstances.


Counselor 
Part-Time 20 hours

An experienced counselor, who possesses knowledge about substance abuse treatment.  Counselors work with individuals, families, and groups to address and treat client.  Works semi-independently with some professional supervision, is capable of directing and motivation clients toward abstinence and sobriety through specific avenues of treatment. Hours are flexible with some weekend and evening coverage



 

OUTPATIENT COUNSELING SERVICES

Bi-Lingual Master Level Counselor

Full-Time

Masters level bi-lingual counselor who possesses knowledge about substance abuse treatment.   Trained in a variety of therapeutic techniques used to address issues, including depression, addiction and substance abuse, suicidal impulses, stress, problems with self-esteem, and grief.  Counselors works with individuals, families, and groups to address and treat client.  Works independently with weekly supervision, is capable of directing and motivation clients toward abstinence and sobriety through specific avenues of treatment. Afternoon / evening hours.

 
RECOVERY HOUSE / INTENSIVE & INTEMIDATE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM

Residential Managers - Floaters

2nd & 3rd shift & weekends

Per Diem

Residential Floaters are responsible for providing direct supervision of clients in residential substance abuse treatment programs. They assist in the daily operations of the residence to ensure the programs are run smoothly, efficiently, and in a manner appropriate to the health, safety, and programming needs of individuals and staff. Assist with meal preparation and appropriate discipline when necessary.  Act as a role model for residents.  Floater will be trained and available to multiple programs covering shifts as needed.
